The exams are very competitive and stressful for students as the results of the two-day tests will be used for tertiary enrollments by universities and colleges.

Fifteen teams have been dispatched to inspect exam preparation in 44 selected localities nationwide.

As of July 5, around 1,002,432 candidates had registered for the exams, with 933,510 students registering online.
