Themed "A Decade of Triumph – Where Every Finish Line is a New Beginning", the tournament celebrates the 10th year of IRONMAN in Vietnam, affirming the country’s position as a premier endurance sports destination.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee, said that this year, the city proudly celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Liberation Day, marking a remarkable transformation from a small urban centre into a leading economic, cultural, and sports hub of the central and Central Highlands regions, affirming its position on the national and international maps.
In that flow of development, IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang has played an important role in spreading the spirit of resilience, the aspiration to conquer, and global connectivity – core values that define the identity of the people of Da Nang.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam 2025, combining a 1.9km swim, 90km of cycling, and a run of 21.1km, allows competitors to compete for 30 slots in the IRONMAN Championship in Marbella, Spain.
As a true multi-sport festival, the three-day IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam also features the SUNRISE SPRINT Vietnam, a shorter-distance triathlon comprising a race of 750m swim, 20km cycling and 5km run.
For the first time, it integrates Mixed Reality (MR) technology through a pioneering partnership with tech company tagSpace. This strategic collaboration is expected to deliver a completely new layer of interactive digital experience, expanding how athletes, spectators, and fans engage with and experience the race days.
