The festival is a major great religious banquet for the Great Mother and nine female immortals of the Dieu Tri (Jasper Pond) Palace held annually on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
A senior dignitary from the Cao Dai Holy See of Tay Ninh expressed gratitude to the Party and State leaders for their attention and support in enabling it to solemnly organise the festival. This has allowed Cao Dai followers to practise their faith and live a prosperous, happy, and peaceful life.
Over the past year, Cao Dai dignitaries and followers have seriously practised their religion, acted in compliance with the law, actively joined charity activities, and built a civilised lifestyle in residential areas.
Since the beginning of this year, the church has raised over VND 28.4 billion (USD 1.07 million) for social welfare activities.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Doan Trung Kien appreciated dignitaries and followers of all religions in general, and the Cao Dai sect in particular, for strictly adhering to the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies, and for actively participating in local socio-economic development movements.
