This year's competition, organised by the German-based International Choral Organisation, Interkultur and Hoi An, attracted the participation of nearly 1,500 artists from 45 choirs of 15 countries and territories.
Besides the official competition, choirs held performances throughout the city to entertain the local community.
This is the third time Hoi An was selected as the host of the competition which was an opportunity to promote the popular tourist city to international friends.
After the awards ceremony, choir groups paraded through the main streets of Hoi An in their countries' traditional dress and were warmly welcomed by the locals and tourists.
