According to a construction worker at the site, the installation began overnight after city authorities approved a proposal from the Department of Culture and Sports to organise public screenings for supporters.

Technicians are racing to complete final work, including wiring, signal testing and safety checks.

Vietnam U23 booked a place in the semifinals of the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 after a dramatic 3-2 victory over UAE U23 on January 16 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
