Under the agreement, VTV is entitled to broadcast matches across multiple platforms, including television, radio, mobile and internet services.
The broadcaster has yet to issue an official statement on the deal. However, it is expected to involve a record-high fee, as the tournament will expand to 48 teams and feature 104 matches, making it the largest World Cup in history.
