Fans queue for Vietnam-Cambodia ASEAN Cup tickets

Vietnamese football fans lined up outside the Vietnam Football Federation headquarters in Hanoi as direct ticket sales opened for the national team's ASEAN Cup clash with Cambodia.

Long queues of supporters formed outside the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in Hanoi on the morning of August 5 as fans waited to buy tickets for Vietnam's ASEAN Cup 2026 group-stage match against Cambodia.

The VFF began direct ticket sales at its headquarters on Le Quang Dao Street in Tu Liem Ward, although the ticket office did not open until 9 am. Many supporters had arrived more than two hours earlier to secure a place in the queue.

The governing body had previously sold tickets online between July 20 and July 29. The decision to offer in-person sales provides supporters with another opportunity to obtain tickets for the match at My Dinh National Stadium.

Tickets are available in four price categories: VND 200,000 (approximately USD 7.65), VND 300,000 (approximately USD 11.50), VND 400,000 (approximately USD 15.30) and VND 500,000 (approximately USD 19.15).

Khanh Linh, a student at FPT Polytechnic College, said she arrived at the VFF headquarters at around 8am. It was the first time she had queued in person to buy tickets for a Vietnam national team match.

"I hope I can buy all 10 tickets so my whole family can go to the stadium and cheer on Vietnam," she said.

The ticket office will operate from 9 am to 11.30 am and from 1.45 pm to 4.30 pm on August 5 and 6. On August 7, tickets will be sold from 9 am to 11.30 am and again from 3pm to 8pm.

The VFF said ticket sales may end earlier than scheduled if all available tickets are sold out.
