Dantri Newspaper co-operates with local authorities in Phu Tho to hold a ground-breaking ceremony on October 31 to build three new houses for low-income families in the provinces.

The family of Dinh Thi Thom, 46, was among three households in Phu Tho to have benefited from the housing project.  As a single mum with a modest income, Thom had struggled to support her 13-year-old daughter, who is constantly ill. The poor woman had also been diagnosed with late-stage cancer. Thom received funding of over VND210 million donated by Dantri readers to build a new house to replace their old one, which has already severely deteriorated.
