British indie rock band Guillemots, based in the UK but with members originating from all over the globe, the Guillemots are known for their joyful, colour-drenched singles such as “Made-up Lovesong #43″ and “Trains to Brazil”.

Two artists from the UK
Jack Clayton's body of work is an interlinking mix of woodcut prints and intricate pen and ink illustrations. Pat Bradbury is an image maker from the UK who will be showing some of his collages and mixed media works has made during his time in Ho Chi Minh City.
HCMC-Exhibition “CHOE’S ARTWORKS”

Introducing two collections “Women of my Country“ and “Savigny Le Temple,” which have been held by the artist’s family. This is the first time they have been presented to the Vietnamese public.
Choe (Nguyen Hai Chi) was an internationally acclaimed cartoonist; an artist who painted and sold multiple types of artwork: oil on canvas, silk painting, watercolour on rice-paper. He was also a writer, poet, and composer.

A 110-minute drama by Vietnamese director Bui Thac Chuyen.
Plot: Post-war Vietnam was full of mines and unexploded bombs. Not everyone is willing to risk their lives clearing them, but some, such as Tai, had little choice. A former soldier for the NME, he can’t get a job and has two families to maintain. With true disregard for death, he starts disposing of mines. This is a dangerous, almost suicidal job, but Tai is able to earn his living. (Gertjan Zuilhof)

After two previous film versions of Dashiell Hammett’s detective classic The Maltese Falcon, Warner Bros., finally got it right in 1941–or, rather, John Huston, a long-established screenwriter making his directorial debut, got it right, simply by adhering as closely as possible to the original.
The film lasts 100 minutes.
