On Sunday morning, thousands of people came to the Hung Kings’ Temple, causing severe congestion, particularly at Thuong (Upper), Trung (Middle) and Ha (Lower) temples on Nghia Linh Mountain.

At around 9 am, the stairways leading up to the Upper Temple were packed with people. Many children were carried on adults' shoulders, struggling to inch forward.
The pilgrims brought offerings such as sticky rice, cured meats, chicken, flowers, fruits, and various cakes and sweets with them to the temple.
The hot weather worsened the situation.
The temple management board has set up soft barriers at the entrance to control the crowds.
The temple received around 20,000 visitors on Sunday
According to Nguyen Ngoc from Thanh Son District, he came to the temple quite early on Sunday but still faced the jams.
Le Truong Giang, director of Hung Kings' Temple Management Board, said that the temple received around 20,000 visitors on Sunday.
Around 1,000 local police officers were arranged at the site to ensure safety.
