The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Consular Department has advised local citizens not to go to coronavirus-hit areas in South Korea.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Consular Department has advised local citizens not to go to coronavirus-hit areas in South Korea. 

According to the department, amid the coronavirus outbreak in South Korea, Vietnamese citizens should not come to coronavirus-striken areas in South Korea which have been warned by South Korean authorities.

Sterilisation to fight against coronavirus in Daegu City

Vietnamese people in South Korea need to conform to regulations and instructions of South Korean authorities on the disease prevention. 

The Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea has also announced the hotline for citizen protection at +82 10-3622-6618 or +84 981 84 84 84.

By the afternoon of February 22, South Korea reported 346 coronavirus cases, including two deaths.
