Under the contract, the two sides will publish electronic books as well as digitised curricula and software programmes designed to support teaching activities from pre-education to high school levels.
According to AIC, the company has learned from the experiences of other countries on publishing e-books. The publications will be handled by both senior Vietnamese and foreign publishers.
Officials from Vietnam Education Publishing House said, from now to the end of the year, the two sides will compile ideas for text and software to teach English to primary, secondary and high school students.
Between September 2012 and August 2013, they plan to complete software for natural sciences for different educational levels, and start pilot programmes in certain schools.
By 2015, they target to finish the digitisation of the remaining subjects for the all educational levels and publish the related documents.
This method is also hoped to bring both teachers and pupils an enormous visual library so that they can see primary documents and discuss them with one another easily.
