The new patients are aged between 27 and 87 with 33 linked to Danang Hospital, four to Danang Hospital for Lung Diseases, two to Danang Oncology Hospital; four staying at a hotel where kidney patients of the Danang Hospital being isolated and two at the medical centre of the city’s Cam Le District.
Danang has confirmed 80 Covid-19 cases since July 25
They are patients or patients’ relatives at those hospitals.
Since the first Covid-19 community transmission case was announced on July 25, Danang has confirmed a total of 80 cases with the majority connected to Danang Hospital.
The figure has raised the country’s total community infection case to 93 over the past week.
Since July 25, the pandemic has also affected HCM City, Hanoi, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Dak Lak.
By Friday morning, Vietnam had a total of 509 Covid-19 patients, including 276 from abroad. Of the figure, 369 have been discharged from hospital for their full recovery.
