The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam started a preparatory session in Hanoi this morning, January 25, for the 13th National Party Congress.


After paying tribute to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum the congress delegates were transported to the National Convention Centre in Nam Tu Liem District for the preparatory session.



Around 200 vehicles were used to transport the delegates this morning.


The police officers were assigned to regulate traffic and ensure security for the delegates.

No traffic jams were reported this morning on streets where the delegates went through.

People stood on streets to see vehicles carrying the delegates.

Around 1,587 delegates have joined the 13th National Party Congress.

The congress will be officially opened on Tuesday morning.
