According to Tran Duc Ba, director of Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Observatory, the total rainfall in the province has been at between 50-150mm over the recent days.

The water level in many rivers, particularly Ngan Sau and Ngan Pho, has been on the rise, Ba said, warning the risk of landslides and flash floods in the mountainous areas of Huong Khe, Huong Son, Ky Anh, Cam Xuyen and Duc Tho.
Meanwhile, floods would happen in Ky Anh, Cam Xuyen and Thach Ha districts and Ha Tinh City.
The typhoon has also blown the roofs off many houses in Ky Anh District.

Vamco is the ninth storm that has battered the central region of Vietnam over the past month.
In October alone, the central region faced adverse downpours, widespread flooding and landslides following the four storms in a span. At least 235 people were killed or remained unaccounted for, while around 390,000 houses were submerged.
