Authorities said the suspects are being investigated for illegal drug trading and organising the unlawful use of narcotics. Three additional individuals were sent to compulsory rehabilitation centres.
According to initial information, on May 16 police in Phu My Ward inspected the residence of Vo Ngoc Phi, 36, in Phuoc Lap residential area.

Officers allegedly discovered 14 sealed plastic straw tubes and a nylon bag containing methamphetamine hidden in Phi’s bedroom.
Phi admitted the drugs had been purchased for resale to drug users for profit, investigators said.
Following further investigations, police in Phu My Ward uncovered multiple branches of the network allegedly involved in drug distribution, retail sales and organising illegal drug use across several areas.
Authorities said a total of 24 individuals connected to the network had been dealt with so far.
