Speaking at the event, local officials said the project would not only provide space for leisure and exercise but also contribute to urban beautification, environmental improvement and the expansion of green coverage in the city.

The park will include trees, walking paths, children’s playgrounds, outdoor fitness areas, lighting systems, landscaping and other supporting facilities.

Authorities described the project as part of broader efforts to build a greener, cleaner and more modern urban environment while improving residents’ quality of life.

Local residents welcomed the project and expressed hope the park would soon become a new community gathering space for relaxation, exercise and outdoor activities.
