Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said they may fine a restaurant in Hanoi which makes their waitresses wear bikinis.

The photos of the special occasion were taken at a restaurant in Cau Giay District on May 8. The representative of the restaurant said that it was a special event they held to thank their customers and the waitresses were promotional girls hired just for this day. Unsurprisingly, the restaurant saw an increase in customers that night.

When being asked why the restaurant chose this kind of event though Tran Anh Company had just been fined for employing bikini-clad promotional girls not long ago, the representative said she was responsible for financial issues and did not know anything more.
On May 10, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism asked Cau Giay District officials to investigate the issue.
Restaurant representative claims it was to thank customers
Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently fined the Tran Anh Company VND40 million (USD1,920) for employing promotional girls wearing bikinis.
The photographs and video clips of girls wearing bikinis introducing products and welcoming customers at the Tran Anh electronic store in Hanoi went viral on April 28. A representative claimed that they only co-operated with a partner to make a sex education video series.
