The northern and northern central regions, including Hanoi, are facing heavy rain, causing a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.

Rainy weather has been forecasted to affect northern localities of Vietnam until early next month
The temperature in the northern region is set to range from 21-28 degrees centigrade.
Rain would last in northern localities until early next month. Between May 25 and June 1, the rain would mainly occur in the midland and mountainous areas.
Warnings of flash floods and landslides have been issued for northern mountainous and low areas due to the torrential rain.
Central localities from Quang Binh to Thua Thien-Hue would see rain in some days to come.
Meanwhile, the Central Highlands region would have hail and strong wind with lowest temperatures of 20-23 degrees centigrade.
The southern region would experience both the sunny and rainy weather with temperatures from 24-33 degrees centigrade.
