Many streets in Hanoi and HCM City fell quiet on the first day of the Lunar New Year.


At 6am on Lunar January 1 or February 1, some streets near the Long Bien Bridge saw just a few people travelling.


Only a few shops were open at Dong Xuan and Bac Qua markets.
