A 2-day conference will be held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam on 27 - 28 May, to leverage on Vietnam's communication opportunities, and equip PR practitioners with effective PR skills.
Titled "Public Relations in Vietnam", the conference will address critical issues ranging from media relations, corporate social responsibility, crisis management and communications to PR measurement. They would be covered by top few PR firms including like Venus Communications, Le Bros, T&A Ogilvy and TQPR Vietnam.
Thanin Prongthura (Lance), Managing Director of Venus Communications, highlighted that the fast developing PR landscape in Vietnam saw that "many multinationals use Marketing PR to contextualise locally regional campaigns. With a crisis that happened to Toyota, corporate communication gains center stage prominence. The PR industry stands to be still unique compared to other markets - a mix of media pitching and the more 'commercial' advertorials."
The conference will also feature a dynamic panel discussion including Editor-in-Chiefs from Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and FBNC Television. Global examples from Coca-Cola, IBM and Starbucks, and local case studies of Bao Viet, Piaggio and BAT Vietnam will also be covered.
Endorsers of the event include Vietnam Marcom, Singapore Business Group, CanCham and EuroCham.
