HCM City urged to tighten social distancing
Some parts of HCM City were locked down because of the Covid-19 outbreak while the rest of the city is still open. In order to prevent cases when unknown positive patients travel around unchecked, local authorities must set up a list to manage people who are from other districts.
The PM asked HCM City to tighten measures to prevent large gatherings or disregard for the distance rules even in high-risk areas, and have awareness programmes to limit travel inside the city.
The city authorities were asked to work with neighbouring provinces to better manage the workers at industrial zones and have policies to support low-income people.
