According to the centre, the rain would happen in northern localities, with rainfall of 100-200 mm or even 250 mm in some areas. Strong wind, thunder, lightning and hail would also occur during the rain. Mountainous areas would see flash floods and landslides.
The northern region to face heavy rain
The cool weather would last until the end of June 11 with an average temperature of 31-33 degrees centigrade. From June 13, the northern region would continue facing hot days.
The northern central provinces of Thanh Hoa and Nghe An would have rain by late June 8 and then face the hot weather afterwards.
Meanwhile, central localities from Ha Tinh to Binh Thuan would witness the hot weather until the middle of June.
