According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting, the rains would ravage the northern region, including Hanoi, until September 28 with strong wind.

The northern region is facing heavy rains due to being affected by the North-east monsoon
The rains would then expand to the northern central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh with the rainfall of 30-50mm per day.
Meanwhile, central localities from Thua Thien-Hue to Quang Ngai would see rains from September 30 to October 1.
The North-east monsoon has been forecasted to bring light cold spell for the northern region during this weekend.
The North-east monsoon would help ease the current hot weather in Hanoi. Hanoi’s temperatures at the end of September and early October are set to fall to 21-24 degrees Celsius at night and 29-32 during the day.
