The rains would then expand to the northern central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh with the rainfall of 30-50mm per day.

Meanwhile, central localities from Thua Thien-Hue to Quang Ngai would see rains from September 30 to October 1.

The North-east monsoon has been forecasted to bring light cold spell for the northern region during this weekend.

The North-east monsoon would help ease the current hot weather in Hanoi. Hanoi’s temperatures at the end of September and early October are set to fall to 21-24 degrees Celsius at night and 29-32 during the day.
