Floodwaters submerged parts of Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Trung Truc and 30 Thang 4 streets, as well as roads around the island's former airport in the centre of the island.

Water levels exceeded 0.5 metres in some areas, leaving several cars and motorbikes stranded and causing traffic congestion.
Flooding was also reported in An Thoi, Cay Thong Trong and Cay Thong Ngoai.
According to the An Giang Hydrometeorological Station, rainfall reached 90 mm in Duong Dong, 57 mm in An Thoi and more than 121 mm in Cua Can by 6 pm.
The rainfall recorded in Cua Can exceeded the previous high of 120 mm, set in October 2025.
Local authorities said they had opened flood-control gates and deployed workers to clear blocked drainage channels to speed up the flow of water.
