The office of the National Assembly in Hanoi carried out Covid-19 testing for all staff on February 17 following the Tet Holiday.

The employees at the office of the National Assembly on 35 Ngo Quyen Street were informed about the tests before they returned to work. This is one of the preventive measures used to screen potential cases as employees return to Hanoi from different localities.

Hoang Duc Hanh, deputy director of Hanoi Department of Health said even though the situation in Hanoi is still under control, they need to strictly carry out preventive measures and track the travel history of the employees.

According to Hanh, there are two groups of people who go to Hanoi after Tet. The first group only returned to their hometowns which are not in outbreak areas. They can fill in their medical declaration online. People who return from outbreak areas must go to the ward or communal medical stations.
