On November 30, Dinh Van Tuy, 30, was detected while transporting the dead langurs by motorbike from the forest area at Hoa Son Commune to Hoa Hop Commune in Minh Hoa District for sale.

The two langurs with a total of 15 kilos were kept in a bag. One of them had the fur shaved with the entire viscera removed.
Tuy failed to show the papers to prove where he had found the animals and was detained. The case will be further investigated by local authorities.
According to forest rangers the langurs are rare and endangered species which need to be protected.
