Long traffic jam in HCM City after Hung Temple festival

Returning from their days off for the Hung Temple festival, a large number of people flocked back to the city.

Returning from their days off for the Hung Temple festival, a large number of people flocked back to the city, jamming up the roads on April 12.

The heaviest congestion was along a section of National Highway No. 1A that runs through Suoi Tien Culture-Tourism Site. Most people were travelling from Dong Nai province to Ho Chi Minh City.

The flow of visitors returning from Suoi Tien also added to the traffic.

Vehicles had to line up for three or four kilometres and the situation had not been eased until 6:00pm on the same day.
