Late frost stuns Ta Xua Peak

Though it is already late March, Ta Xua Peak in the northern province of Yen Bai has been struck by thick frost.

Frost appeared on Ta Xua Peak from last night until 7 am today, March 19, and melted as the sun rose. This is the third time frost has appeared on Ta Xua since the Lunar New Year 2025. The most recent frost in the area was on January 11.

The peak mainly sees frost between December and February, but this is the first time residents have experienced it in March.
