The Ministry of Transport and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on May 20 signed a cooperation project to enhance capacity of the College of Transport in training technicians for highway construction in Vietnam.

According to Tsuno Motonori, the chief representative of JICA in Vietnam , the experts from JICA will closely work with the staffs of the College of Transport in compiling curriculums and guidebooks for teaching as well as in strengthening teachers’ skills.
The project will be implemented within three years with a total budget of JPY480 million (USD5.8 million), funded by the Japanese Government.
