According to the prime minister, the pandemic would continue to be complicated and hard to predict in the coming time, particularly at industrial parks. This meant agencies and localities need to take more flexible and effective measures in Covid-19 mitigation efforts.

He reiterated the government target to ensure mass Covid-19 vaccination. The Ministry of Health has been assigned to buy Covid-19 vaccines. The government leader asked the ministry to speed up negotiations on vaccine purchases.

Under the prime minister’s instruction, besides frontline staff, Covid-19 vaccines should also be prioritised to some other groups, including workers at industrial parks. It was important to reconsider the list of prioritised groups to reflect the reality of the situation.

The prime minister also emphasised the importance of creating favourable policies to encourage Covid-19 vaccine production in the country.

The northern province of Bac Giang is facing a Covid-19 outbreak with the majority of cases focused on local industrial parks.
