According to the Southern Region Hydrometeorological Observatory, the hot weather started affecting HCM City from today and it has been forecasted to last for four days.
Hcm City faces scorching heat
Today, March 3, some southern localities such as Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and Dong Nai had a temperature of 35 degrees centigrade. The temperature in HCM City was 34-35 degrees centigrade.
The highest temperatures were recorded between 11:00 am to 3 pm.
From Thursday, the heat would expand to more areas in the south, including south-western localities.
People are advised to pay attention to protecting their health amid the hot weather.
