On May 24, apartment building 17T4 Trung Hoa Nhan Chinh in Cau Giay District was locked down after a Covid-19 case was found. The new patient is an employee at the Taxation Department at 124 Lo Duc Street. The building was also disinfected on the same day.

Meanwhile, Phu Dien Ward People's Committee in Bac Tu Liem District announced that a person who helped in the legislative election day on May 23 tested positive for Covid-19. As the result, four buildings at Goldmark City were locked down.

According to Bac Tu Liem authorities, the patient is not a member of the organising committee and only helped to regulate the traffic. However, the patient was in contact with voters and 20 members of the committee.

On the same day, Hoan Kiem District CDC released an announcement searching for people who have been to nine locations related to the new Covid-19 cases including Sunled Company in Dai Kim urban area, Hoang Mai District from May 9, Aha Cafe on 59 Le Thanh Nghi from May 14, Manh Hoach Chicken Restaurant at 171 Le Thanh Nghi from May 17, Net Store in Alleyway 121 Le Thanh Nghi from May 9 to 22.

Other addresses include a cafe on 127 Le Thanh Nghi from May 9 to 22, Highlands Coffee at 127 Lo Duc on May 20, Thanh Ha Restaurant on Lac Trung from 6.30 pm to 8 pm on May 22, and the car registry office in Hoang Mai District on the morning of May 22.
