Fuel prices rise after Thursday adjustment

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 grew by VND198 per litre to VND21,508, while RON95 rose by VND231 per litre to VND22,466.

Diesel oil prices also rose by VND720 per litre to VND20,360 per litre. Kerosene prices increased by VND497 per litre to VND20,356 per litre, and mazut oil prices rose by VND334 per kilo to VND17,223 per kilo.

This is the second consecutive fuel price hike. So far this year, fuel prices have seen 14 increases and 11 decreases.

The ministries decided not to subsidise the price stabilisation fund.
