Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan has signed and sent the Official Document 3745 to the Hanoi People's Committee, Hanoi Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Hanoi Department of Health, Department of Tourism and Department of Public Security about the plan.

The plan aims to ensure the quarantine measures to prevent further spread while ensuring the crews' health for following flights.

The Ministry of Transport asked the local authorities to assign rooms for the crews at the proposed Pullman Hotel at 40 Cat Linh, Pan Pacific at 1 Thanh Nien, and Crown Plaza at 36 Le Duc Tho.

Hanoi People's Committee was asked to guide the medical sector and related agencies to disinfect the hotels and monitor the crews' health and take tests if necessary.

On April 22, during a regular meeting about Covid-19 prevention work, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasised that they need to quickly deal with new small outbreaks, and quarantine all arrivals with different methods depending on different groups of people.

Vietnam has not received any new foreign tourists.
