Under the proposal sent to the Ministry of Transport amid the spread of Covid-19 in Nghe An, all commercial flights from and to Vinh Airport need to be suspended from today until the pandemic is brought under control.
Vinh Airport
Before the pandemic, Vinh Airport served from 25 to 30 domestic flights per day on five routes to Haiphong, Quang Binh, Gia Lai, Quang Ninh and Con Dao.
At present, the airport is serving only the Vinh-HCM City route with one daily flight.
Over the past 17 days, Nghe An has detected 99 Covid-19 cases, including 63 in Vinh City.
