According to the police in Tu Ky District, 18 Chinese people and a Vietnamese person were found gathering for a meal at Trung Hoa Phat Ky Restaurant in Cong Lac Commune in late May. The group did not wear face masks after finishing their meal.

Local people complained about the behaviour which alerted authorities.
All of the Chinese experts work for a company in Tu Ky District.
The restaurant was found to have been selling drinks of unclear origin.
As a result, the restaurant owner was fined VND32.5 million (USD1,413) for Covid-19 regulation violations and selling products of unclear origin. The diners were fined VND2 million each.
