Celebrities have joined the music show entitled “The Day of Women,” which is a non-profit program to be held on March 6, to raise funds for building a bridge in the central province Quang Binh.

The bridge will act as a shortcut on the road to school for hundreds of students of the Hung Trach primary and secondary school in Bo Trach District.
This meaningful show is also meant to express sincere thanks to women on the occasion of International Day on March 8.
This is also a voluntary activity in the series of musical events named “The Loving Bridge”, with the participation of famed singers such as Thuy Vu of AC&M, Phan Ngoc Luan, To Nhu, Ly Mai Trang, Manh Tuan; actors Tri Quang, Quang Thao; and actress Ngoc Lan.
Donations from the events will be contributed to the Loving Bridge’s Fund. In addition, event organizer An’s Coffee will donate 20 percent of their revenue on the night of performance.
Months ago, a similar show was held in Nha Trang City.
Viet Horizon Club (Chan Troi Viet) -- a charity group which includes volunteers in HCMC and Nha Trang -- will also take part in the events, with a mission to help needy kids in Vietnam-especially those in orphanages who are unlikely to be happy or adopted. Their projects focus on improving living conditions, medical care, educational opportunities, and overall quality of life. |
