On September 29, Vietnamese authorities arrested three South Korean nationals who had been hiding in the country. Interpol had issued international wanted notices for all three at the request of South Korean police over alleged fraud and organised gambling offences.

The Mongolian national was also internationally wanted on suspicion of fraud at the request of Mongolian police.

The suspect entered Vietnam through the Ha Tien International Border Gate in An Giang Province in October 2025 on a tourist visa.

After staying in Ho Chi Minh City for a period, the suspect travelled to Danang and registered their accommodation in Hoa Cuong Ward. The individual was arrested on October 5.
