The fire erupted from a room containing supplies for the students' day boarding activities. At that time, 71 children were attending classes. When the fire broke out, the teachers quickly evacuated the children.
Fire engines and emergency services attended the scene a short time later.
No casualties have been reported, but many of the school's contents were damaged.
