Senior lieutenant colonel Tu Lam, head of the Kon Tum provincial Traffic Police Department, said the 19-seat passenger car was running from Kon Tum to Attapu and hit a motorbike. The careless driver could not curb the speed of his car in a curve, 30km from the Bo Y International Border Gate.
All passengers are Vietnamese. The injured passengers are being treated at Ngoc Hoi and Kon Tum hospitals.
The accident is currently under investigation.
