Area B is for patients with moderate symptoms while D and E areas are for patients with mild symptoms
Le Dinh Thanh, director of Thong Nhat Hospital, was assigned as the field hospital's director. Vice-chairman of Tan Binh District People's Committee, director of Tan Binh Hospital, director of Tan Binh Medical Station and the deputy head of the Planning Department at Thong Nhat Hospital are the appointed deputy directors of the field hospital.
Fire extinguishers placed around the hospital
Thanh said, "We aim to limit the number of patients with worsening conditions since it's difficult to transfer patients from hospital to hospital if their condition suddenly worsens. Many hospitals are overloaded in HCM City."
