The images of a woman from Hanoi in a blue outfit practising yoga outside the walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul have gone viral on social media.

Some said the woman should not face criticism for doing yoga outside the palace. However, many others argued that this is a sacred site preserved through many dynasties.
In an interview with Dantri/DTiNews, the woman said the images were taken on October 31 during her six-day, five-night tour to South Korea. When she posted these photos, she did not think it would face a strong reaction from people.
"I just practised yoga outside the palace, not inside. Passers-by even praised me, and some of them asked to take photos with me," she added.
According to the woman, security officers did not intervene at any point. "Next time, I'll avoid performing yoga at such places," she noted.
Earlier, she also did yoga during overseas trips, including Bali in Indonesia, the Maldives, Singapore and Nami Island in South Korea.
Recently, a video featuring two female tourists performing yoga on Mount Fansipan in the northern province of Lao Cai also triggered an online debate about unsuitable outfits in public places.
Mount Fansipan is a major tourist attraction known as the Roof of Indochina.
