Thousands of counterfeit products seized at Ninh Hiep Market
The Market Surveillance Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade directed the market management team in Hanoi to inspect seven locations at Ninh Hiep and Son Long markets and found a large amount of counterfeit clothes of famous brands.
The team seized 4,697 items including clothes and belts. 1,420 of which are smuggled products and the rest are counterfeit products of protected names such as Lacoste, Adidas, Louis Vuitton, Versace and Gucci.
The investigation is being expanded.
The market management team has carried out inspection and seized many counterfeit products at wholesale markets before.
