The Immigration Management Department said on April 18 that authorities, working with relevant agencies, had inspected and processed multiple cases over the past week.

Between April 10 and April 17, a total of 47 people were deported via Tan Son Nhat international Airport, including 45 Bangladeshi nationals, one South Korean and one Taiwanese.
Most violations involved failing to renew visas or temporary residence cards, misusing visa categories by entering on tourist or business visas while engaging in unauthorised work, and failing to declare temporary residence when staying in guesthouses or residential areas.
Dong Nai police urged organisations, businesses and individuals to comply strictly with regulations governing foreign nationals. Employers are only allowed to hire foreign workers with valid work permits and proper residency documentation.
Operators of hotels, guesthouses and rental properties are required to declare the temporary residence of foreign guests through the police electronic system immediately upon arrival.
Authorities also advised foreign nationals living and working in Vietnam to comply fully with the law on entry, exit, transit and residence. Violations, including overstaying, may result in fines, forced exit or deportation, as well as potential bans on re entry for a specified period.
