According to the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Centre, over the next 3-10 days a heat low over the western region will redevelop and intensify, while a weak subtropical high aloft over southern Vietnam persists and easterly disturbances gradually weaken.

Daytime heat, particularly around midday and early afternoon, will remain widespread, with temperatures likely to rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius.
Thunderstorms may develop in the late afternoon and evening from around April 28-29, with some areas likely to see moderate to heavy rain.
Forecasters warned that prolonged heat could heighten fire risks, especially in residential areas and locations with flammable materials, while also posing health risks, including cardiovascular and respiratory problems.
Thunderstorms may also bring hazardous conditions such as whirlwinds, lightning, hail and strong gusts, potentially damaging crops, uprooting trees and affecting homes and infrastructure.
Residents are advised to monitor forecasts and take precautionary measures.
