When the story of the four-year-old girl Tran Thi Hieu Thao who was born without arms and legs and lost her father just ten months after birth, was shared on Dantri/Dtinews in 2014, many readers have sent donations to help the family.
"A new miracle has just come to us when a charity organisation in HCM City sent Thao artificial arms and legs," the elderly woman said. "Although the arms are a bit heavy for her and the legs do not have knee joints, she was delighted."
Thao is now staying with her elderly grandparents after her father died in a traffic accident and mother worked far from home.
