According to initial information, at around 3:45 am on May 9, a boiler exploded at a house in Tan Bien Ward, Bien Hoa City, killing Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong, 46, and Nguyen Hung Tai, 51, both from Can Tho.
Tai died at the scene, while Phuong, the owner of the soy milk facility, passed away on the way to the hospital.
Tai is Phuong’s acquaintance who had come to help with soy milk production.
The case of the incident is under investigation.
