The ban applies to vehicles with more than 29 seats including those with tourist vehicle badges, between 6:30 am and 8:00 am and from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm every day.

According to the Khanh Hoa Traffic Safety Board, 450 among 778 buses with more than 29 seats have been granted "tourist vehicle" badges by the Department of Transport, excluding vehicles from other localities that are currently in operation.
Large buses often contribute to traffic jams in the centreof Nha Trang City during rush hours, as the area is home to many hotels, restaurants, offices, and schools.
The list of banned streets includes Tran Phu, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Hung Vuong, and Nguyen Thien Thuat and the intersections such as To Huu - Beltway 2, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - To Hien Thanh, Ma Vong, Le Hong Phong - Van Don, Hoang Dieu - Tran Phu, Nguyen Tat Thanh - Phuoc Long.
The authorities will tighten control to promptly detect and address violations of traffic order and safety, particularly illegal parking and stopping.
